2023 Elections: Why Jandor Cannot Rule Lagos – Igbokwe
Joe Igbokwe, an aide to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has subtly taken a swipe at the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Olajide Abdulazeez Adediran popularly called Jandor.
In a post via his Facebook page, Igbokwe stated that the PDP governorship candidate is a “small boy” and cannot rule the centre of excellence.
Igbokwe also played down Adediran‘s chances of becoming the next governor of the state.
“I have been laughing and scratching my head until tears started coming out of my eyes anytime I listen to one small boy who says he wants to rule Lagos. This Lagos I know very well? We play too much,” he wrote.
Naija News reports that Adediran dumped the APC for the PDP in January, to pursue his ambition of becoming the next governor of Lagos.
Meanwhile, Lucky James, an ally of the former Governor of Edo State, Adam Oshiomhole, has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC).
James made this known in a letter dated August 4, 2022, and addressed to the Ward 10 Chairman of APC in Etsako West Local Government Area of the state.
Naija News reports that James was a Commissioner during the Oshiomhole-led administration in Edo State and a strong chieftain of the APC.
He said his decision to leave the APC was due to the unhealthy crisis which has plagued the ACP in the state for years, adding that he and the party are at variance in the meaning of justice and fairness.
