2023: Osinbajo, Aregbesola Silent On Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition – Tijani
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola have been charged by a loyalist of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, Remilekun Usman to openly declare their support for him.
Usman in a statement released on Friday charged the vice president and the minister to bury their hatchet.
He wondered why Osinbajo and Aregbesola whose’s political journey can be traced to Tinubu are silent on his ambition.
According to Usman, the duo who are from Yorubaland are expected to support president Tinubu who is from the region.
He charged Osinbajo and the former Governor of Osun State to resolve their differences and support Tinubu.
Usman in the statement admonished Osinbajo and Aregbesola and other aggrieved members of the ruling party to direct their supporters to work for the presidential ambition of Tinubu.
The loyalist to the former Governor of Lagos State also called on their supporters to join different campaign groups supporting Tinubu.
He pleaded that the party should not go into the 2023 general elections divided.
Usman called for genuine reconciliation in the party, adding that the Yoruba must take over power in 2023 at the end of the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari.
