2023 Presidency: Atiku Releases Campaign Video

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has released his campaign video for the 2023 general elections.

The former vice president released the one-minute clip of his manifesto via his verified Twitter page on Wednesday morning.

The opening message of the video reads: “Hello ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking, welcome on board flight 2023 Atiku/Okowa 2023, I have my co-pilot here with me, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, keeping track of all navigation systems, our destination is a ‘United Nigeria’…”

Naija News reports that the video has, however, generated a lot of reactions on Twitter, minutes after it was posted.

Below are some of the reactions.

@TheSomadina wrote: “Lol, A flight to Dubai.”

@mrlurvy wrote: “Ehh help me! Help me!! help me!!! Help me help me help me help me. E dey carry me dey go where I no know.”

@osasuo wrote: “I’m afraid I will have to decline to be on this #AtikuOkowa2023 flight, @atiku. I have no confidence in the safety of the plane, its chief pilot and the co-pilot. Other people in #Nigeria will make their own judgement, as to whether they feel safe on such a 4 or 8-year flight.

@AnthonyOkonkwo2 wrote: “@atiku and @IAOkowa are properly teamed to Rescue Nigeria with proper laid out plans ready for implementation. Folks should read the Atiku Plan document and appreciate the clear readiness imbibed in the Atiku Presidency. Forget all the noise and bashing.

@Rolex7Michael wrote: “Atiku is the most prepared candidate that will bring unity to the Country, ameliorate our living conditions, and aid human capital development while also securing lives and property.”

@ChildOfProvidex wrote: “I no known where Atiku dey carry me dey go…Feb 25th is the first time I will be voting in my life and it’s all because of my love for Atiku’s vision for Nigeria…POWER TO THE PEOPLE.”

@Tunde_trapkvng wrote: “Most Nigerians can’t relate sir 80% of us have never been in planes, next time do advert with okada.”

@naijama wrote: “I was ready to sit back, relax and enjoy the flight when the captain said: “My name is Atiku Abubakar …” and jolted me back to reality! Anyway, that is easily remedied. Let @atiku do the narration himself before we start talking about the voice of Jacob and the hand of Esau.
