2023 Presidency: Saraki Makes Four Accusation Against Buhari, APC Govt
Former President of the Nigerian Senate, Bukola Saraki has listed four things the All Progressives Congress, APC government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has done wrong since 2015.
Naija News recalls that Buhari emerged Nigerian President in 2015 after defeating former President and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Goodluck Jonathan.
Speaking, however, on the ongoing political atmosphere, Saraki who was a two-term Governor of Kwara State said the APC government has failed woefully in leadership.
The Presidential hopeful said the incumbent government has failed Nigerians after assuring them of heaven and earth during campaigns years ago.
Saraki alleged that the APC administration failed in providing the electricity, power supply, security.
He also said the government has corrupted the judiciary and the legislative arms and as well caused division amongst tribes and religions.
Naija News understands that Saraki stated these when his Presidential Campaign train visited Kano on Thursday night.
He noted that President Buhari promised to give Nigerians power but the country was now worse off in energy supply.
“The President said he will provide effective security of lives and properties, today, Nigerians cannot even travel to a closer town without being in fear and uncertain of what will happen to them,” he said.
Represented by the Campaign Director, “Bukola Saraki Presidential Campaign Directorate”, Professor Iyorwuese Hagber said they surveyed the number of people contesting the presidency in 2023 and critically looked at the performances of APC/President Muhammadu Buhari, and agreed that only Bukola Saraki would salvage the country from the ineptitude government that would be out by 2023.
Hagber was optimistic that Bukola Saraki would take over the government come 2023, adding that he would organize massive reforms, restructure the mentality of Nigerians, bring back justice.
According to him, justice has been compromised by the APC regime, as it does not respect the separation of powers.
“The judiciary and the legislative arms have all come under the control of the executive,” he said.
Professor Hagba said, “today, Nigeria is greatly divided along with tribes and religion, that is why something urgently needs to be done to salvage it.
“Nigeria is the poorest nation on earth today. They have failed to make Nigerians happy, we are sad and disgusted. Bukola Saraki who is not corrupt would do the magic and wipe out our tears”.
