2023 Presidency: Tinubu, Yahaha Bello In Closed-door Meeting
The All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, is in a closed-door meeting with Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Naija News understands.
The agenda of the meeting is not made public yet but there were claims that it could be part of Tinubu’s reconciliatory moves to pacify aggrieved presidential aspirants.
Recall that Governor Bello had expressed dissatisfaction with some processes during the just concluded presidential primaries of the APC held in Abuja.
The governor has, however, congratulated Tinubu for his victory and pledged his support for the former Governor of Lagos State as the party continued the struggles ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Naija News understands that Tinubu was on Friday accompanied to the meeting with Governor Bello by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Bello Matawalle (Zamfara); and Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano).
A former governor of Edo State and former national chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole, is also in the entourage.
There are expectations that Tinubu may during the visitation discuss about his running mate in the 2023 general election.
