2023: Tinubu Is A Sellable Candidate – Arewa Youths Back APC Presidential Flagbearer

A pro-Tinubu group, Arewa Youths for Tinubu/Shettima 2023, has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flagbearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a candidate that is sellable and deserving of support.

The group stated this in a statement on Tuesday issued by the national vice-chairman of the group’s advisory council, Muritala Audu.

Audi insisted that Tinubu’s footprint in Lagos cannot be easily erased, Naija News reports.

He said; “The public show in support of the presidential candidate is premised on the fact that Asiwaju Tinubu is a sellable politician who has contributed tremendously to the growth of Nigeria.

“It is imperative that Nigerians support Tinubu’s presidential candidacy so that he can replicate Lagos State’s success stories across the country.’’

Audu noted that on Sunday, the Ogun-based Arewa youths declared support for Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, and also backed the re-election bid of Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun.

Audi explained that the group showed their support for Tinubu through a solidarity walk in the heart of Ogijo town, Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun.

He stated that the walk was to create awareness on why Tinubu should be president.

“The solidarity walk gathered significant momentum as residents and passers-by of the community joined in.

“They signalled their preference for Asiwaju Tinubu as president and Dapo Abiodun as continuing governor,’’ Audu stressed.
