Next Inter Miami boss – odds: Bookies reveal likely candidates for David Beckham’s side with Benitez and Rodgers in mix
DAVID BECKHAM is on the hunt for a new manager for his Inter Miami side after wielding the axe on former Manchester United team mate Phil Neville.
Becks pulled the trigger due to intense fan fury that followed Wednesday’s 1-0 loss to New York Red Bulls – a result which left them stone last of the MLS Eastern Conference.

Neville was in his third season as manager, having been unveiled back in 2021 and leading the club to the MLS Cup play-offs in 2022.
Now, Miami owner Beckham is on the hunt for just his second ever boss to lead the team, with two familiar names at the summit of the betting market.
Betfair make Rafa Benitez and Brendan Rodgers the joint favourites to lead the charge up the table.
Benitez (8/1) recently revealed he was keen on a move back to the Premier League having been out the game for 18 months, with his six-month spell at Everton his last.
Rodgers is the same price as fellow ex-Liverpool boss Benitez and remains out of work having left Leicester at the beginning of April.

The 50-year-old is high up the betting in the Leeds, Celtic and Tottenham next manager markets, with it looking like a return to management is on the cards soon.
Current Los Angeles FC boss Steve Cherundolo is 10/1, the same price as long-term Philadelphia Union boss Jim Curtin.
Another former England team mate, Steven Gerrard is at 16/1 as he plots a move back into the dugout – just behind Marcelo Bielsa at 12/1.
Like Rodgers, Gerrard is strongly linked with the Leeds United vacancy, however, he does know the MLS having had a playing spell there and would be a marquee name for the league.
Another ex-team mate and marquee name, Zinedine Zidane is 25/1, Antonio Conte is 33s and Julian Nagelsmann is ranked a 50/1 shot.
In what would be a massive twist in the Neville household, pundit Gary is 66/1 to replace brother Phil and have another crack at management.
