Nigerian Feminist, Chimamanda Adichie Begs Lady To ‘Manage’ Her Boyfriend
Nigerian writer and feminist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was filmed begging a lady to consider her boyfriend after he displayed a kind gesture.
The mother of one who was recently in Lagos, Nigeria, for a book signing event pleaded with the lady, Racheal, to consider and ‘manage’ her boyfriend after he requested that the book he bought be signed for her.
The lady took to her Twitter account to post a video revealing that her boyfriend’s gesture made her emotional.
Chimamanda who recently lost both parents has often been called out by Nigerians on some of her views on feminism.
The Times Literary supplement described her as “the most prominent” of a “procession of critically acclaimed young anglophone authors [which] is succeeding in attracting a new generation of readers to African literature.”
Some of her works are Purple Hibiscus, Half of a Yellow Sun, We Should All Be Feminists and Americanah.
