A former lawmaker of the 8th National Assembly, Shehu Sani has reacted to the ongoing battle for supremacy between former governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, his successor, Gboyega Oyetola and the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
Naija News understands that the ruling party is currently in the division in the state as Aregbesola, who is the current Minister of Interior controls a faction while the incumbent governor, Oyetola also holds a faction.
Oyetola is seeking reelection and Aregbesola has an anointed candidate in the person of former Secretary to the State Government, Moshood Adeoti.
The minister has vowed to support his candidate in all forms in Saturday’s APC governorship primaries in Osun.
In a recent publication, Aregbesola lampooned his leader, Bola Tinubu, accusing him of being a betrayer.
According to him, the former Lagos Governor has assumed the position of God, vowing that God will bring him down.
Reacting, however, to the split in the party ahead of the Saturday primaries, Senator Shehu Sani who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and also a governorship hopeful in Kaduna State, said in a tweet, “When Governors are on the seat, they want to control everything and everyone.
