Bello Inaugurates Sub-committees For APC Convention
The acting Caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani-Bello, has inaugurated sub-committees for the upcoming national convention of the party slated for March 26.
Naija News reports that the party’s Director of Publicity, Salisu Na’inna Dambatta, confirmed the development in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the Niger governor, the sub-committees were inaugurated after being reduced to a manageable size for effective delivery.
He added that the central planning committee has also increased the number of sub-committees to accommodate some critical activities for a rancour-free convention.
Governor Bello, however, said the convention date is sacrosanct, adding that nothing in this world can change the date of the much-anticipated event.
This development follows the release of the party’s approved recommendations of the Committee on Zoning.
The zoning formula was approved during a meeting of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) after the committee on zoning headed by the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq submitted its report.
