APC Pegs Presidential Nomination Form At ₦100m
The ruling All Progressives Congress on Wednesday fixed its presidential nomination and expression of interest forms at ₦100 million.
The national publicity secretary of the party, Felix Morka revealed this after the 11th National Executive Meeting in Abuja.
APC noted that the nomination form would go for ₦70 million while expression of interest forms would go for ₦30 million.
Morka said women are entitled to free nomination forms but will pay for their expression of interest forms.
APC Reveals Date For Presidential Primaries
The National Executive Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress has revealed the date for its presidential primaries.
NEC on Wednesday approved May 30 and 31 for the primaries ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The spokesperson of the party, Felix Morka, disclosed this at the end of a closed-door meeting of NEC in Abuja.

Leader of the Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo has revealed that he is not in support of any candidate from the southwest to emerge as Nigeria’s president in 2023.
This is as he called on both Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to drop their 2023 presidential ambitions.
According to Pa Adebanjo, in the spirit of fairness and equity, the 2023 presidency should go to the southeast as other sub-regions in the south have had their stints at both the presidency and vice presidency since Nigeria returned to democracy in 1999.
2023: ‘Goodluck Jonathan Must Run’ Campaign Posters Floods Abuja
Campaign posters urging former President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the 2023 presidential election have flooded some parts of Abuja.
According to the information on the posters, which have the inscription, “Goodluck Jonathan must run”, some people are pushing for the return of Jonathan to Aso Rock.
The posters were found in AYA , Asokoro and Finance bridge, around Federal Secretariat.
2023: APC Governors Oppose Buhari Over Consensus Candidacy
The Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have reportedly opposed the consensus mode to pick its presidential candidate and governorship candidates in the 2023 general elections.
Naija News gathered that the governor made their position known in a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday.
It was learned that the governors, who were at the villa to break the Ramadan fast with the president, rejected the idea of consensus in picking candidates for various elective positions.
2023: Amaechi’s Presidential Ambition Is My Project, I Asked Him To Run – Ndume
The lawmaker representing Borno South senatorial district, Ali Ndume, on Tuesday, described the presidential ambition of the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, as his project.
Naija News had earlier reported that Amaechi expressed his intention to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari.
The minister following his official declaration has been meeting with stakeholders across the county with Ndume being involved in his trips across the country.
