2023 Presidency – Why I Bought N100m APC Form For Tinubu – Suleiman

The Director-General of Tinubu Support Group (TSO), Aminu Suleiman has explained the reason behind his decision to purchase the All Progressives Congress presidential nomination and expression of interest forms for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

According to him, he believes in the ability and capability of Tinubu to turn Nigeria around and of all the contestants and aspirants across all the parties, the former Lagos State Governor remains the best option.

Suleiman added that his decision was based on national interests and the need to ensure the best aspirant emerged.

Naija News recalls the TSO Director-General announced the decision to pay for the forms less than 24 hours after the APC announced the N100m price tag for its forms.

Explaining the reason behind his decision and support for Tinubu, Suleiman told The Nation that the APC National Leader is the best option for Nigeria.

“I am a businessman. I mean well for my country. Asiwaju Tinubu’s ambition is in national interest. We are doing this for Nigeria,” he said.

He went ahead to describe and eulogize Tinubu as a bridge-builder, patriot, and believer in national unity that has all the characteristics and abilities to become the next President of Nigeria.

Suleiman added that Tinubu has already proven what he can do after he turned the fortunes of Lagos State around and should be supported to make Nigeria better as well.

In his words, ”Asiwaju is a man of immense capacity. He is the best aspirant. He has exposure.

“Our problems are insecurity, economy, fiscal policy. He will rebuild Nigeria. He will continue from where President Muhammadu Buhari will stop.”

Suleiman added that the northerners appreciate Tinubu’s support for President Muhammadu Buhari and it is time to pay him back for his loyalty.

“We from the North appreciate what Tinubu has done for Buhari. We need to pay him back. He has done so much. We need to pay him back.”

He called on the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo not to contest against Tinubu in the interest of the entire southwest and because it would be wrong to betray his benefactor.

“Southwest should wake up. You lost Awo. Abiola also lost. Osinbajo should not divide the Southwest. He should support his leader. You don’t bite the finger that has fed you,” Suleiman submitted.
