Blood Sisters: ‘I Gave My Heart And Soul To It’ – Actress Ini Dima-Okojie

Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has broken her silence on the most talked about movie ‘Blood Sisters’ trending on Netflix.

The Ebony Life movie production titled ‘Blood Sisters’ features amazing actors such as Kate Henshaw, Deyemi Okanlawon, Gabriel Afolayan and many others with an unpredictable storyline, and enthralling plot.

The movie is full of twists and turns that keep you guessing until the end. It has themes of sibling rivalry, parental favouritism, domestic violence, and toxic parenting.

Ini Dima-Okojie and Nancy Isime were the major characters and their chemistry in the movie was beautiful despite being friends.

In a post shared on Instagram, Ini Dima-Okojie said words could not express what the project means to her because she gave her heart and soul for it.

The actress noted that she is indeed overwhelmed by the accolades the movie had received and urged Nigerians to get ready to be proud of Nollywood.

Ini Dima Okojie also sent a message to those who are being physically abused to say no to their abusers and find a voice.

She wrote: “I can’t seem to find the words to express how surreal yesterday was and what this project means to me. I gave my heart and soul to this. I’m still so overwhelmed. All I can say for now is get ready to be proud of Nollywood !!!. @nancyisimeofficial I just want to say I love you and thank you”.

“This post is for you Sarah. And this moment you finally found the strength to say NO to your abuser”.

“You were many things, you were soft and fragile, broken, traumatized, scared to death half the time. You internalized your feelings and got so used to being told what to do and obeying, even in your friendship with Kemi (which was a beautiful friendship by the way). But you found your voice and you were brave in the end”.

“It was an honour to be given the opportunity to give life to you!!. There are so many Sarah’s out there. You represent so many women and even men that go through abuse and domestic violence. My heart goes out to you”.

“I know it’s not as easy to speak up and leave as everyone advice. I know your life is hard and complicated. But I do hope and pray that you find the strength to say NO and seek help, because you are not alone”.

“Let’s all please remember to be kind and mindful of what ppl may be going through”.
