2023: President Buhari’s Ex-Aide Reveals Presidential Aspirant He Would Support
Former Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, on Wednesday revealed the presidential aspirant he would support under the All Progressives Congress.
According to Bashir, he would support Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, the national leader of the party, Bola Tinubu and former minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi ahead of the presidential primary of the ruling party.
The former Presidential aide in a post on his Twitter account then added that he would support whoever clinches the ticket of the ruling party.
He wrote, “I will support Prof. Osinbajo, Asiwaju Tinubu, Rotimi Amaechi or whoever gets the ticket.”
The presidential primary of the ruling party will be held from May 30th to June 1st.
The likes of Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Godswill Akpabio, Ogbonnaya Onu, and Emeka Nwajiuba will be contesting in the primary election of the party.
Others are Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State; Sen. Rochas Okorocha and former Ogun State governor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosu.
Pastor Tunde Bakare, Cross River State governor, Prof. Ben Ayade, his Ebonyi State counterpart, Gov. Dave Umahi, Ekiti State governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, former Senate President, Sen. Ken Nnamani, Jigawa governor, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar; and former Zamfara State governor, Sen. Ahmed Yerima are also in the race.
