#EkitiDecides2022: INEC Begins Deployment Of Officials To Polling Units – [Photos]

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the deployment of electoral officials to designated polling units ahead of the Ekiti State governorship election today Saturday, June 18, 2022.

Naija News understands that residents of Ekiti State will decide the fate of the state as they vote for their choice of candidate in the polls today.

To that effect, the country’s electoral governing body reported on Saturday morning that it commenced the state’s exercise today with the dispatching of election materials accompanied by officials to polling units in Ikole West, Ijero and Irepodun/ Ifelodun Local Government Areas at 6.30 am today.

INEC also noted that Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) will be used for the #EkitiDecides2022 Election to cross-check the voters’ names in the Register of Voters as well as accrediting the voters using their fingerprints or facials.
