2023: More Than 50% Of New Voters Want Their PVCs Because Of Peter Obi – Arabambi
The National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party, Abayomi Arabambi has submitted that the increase in the number of Nigerians clamouring to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2023 elections is because they want to support the Peter Obi presidential ambition.
He claimed more than 50% of the new voters registered are those who believe in Peter Obi.
Arabambi added that the presidential ambition of the Labour Party (LP) candidate has awoken a fresh interest of Nigerians in the electoral process, particularly the youths of the country.
He made the submission in a recent interview on Arise TV as monitored by Naija News.
According to him, “in the last election, half of the registered voters were docile. Today, we have 12 million registered voters, of which about 8 million of them are youths.
“I am telling you we have over 10 million that registered because of the new order in Nigeria. Everything pointed to the Obidient group, to which I am one of them.
“As we speak, all of us in Nigeria have been kidnapped. And the ticket that can free us from the captivity is the Peter Obi/Datti Baba-Ahmed mandate.”
It will be recalled that figures provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have it that 12.2 million Nigerians newly registered to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).
More than 70% of them are youths.
