‘Why Did You Go?’ – Empress Njamah Tearfully Queries Late Ada Ameh (Video)

Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah is still unable to get over the death of her best friend and colleague, Ada Ameh.

Naija News recalls that the comic actress died on Monday, July 18 during a visit to an oil company toyshop and his family when she suddenly collapsed and was pronounced dead at a hospital in Delta State.

Taking to her Instagram page, Empress shared a video from the night of tribute in honour of the late Ada, organised by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) on Thursday, August 18th.

In the video, Empress was repeatedly touching the banner that had pictures of Ada as she questioned why she had to die.

She captioned the video: “YOU KNOW I MISS YOU RIGHT?then why did you go? Am still waiting for answers my friend…”

Empress Isn’t My Friend

To many people, Empress is a friend to the deceased but in a recent interview on TVC before her demise, Ada said she’s more than a colleague and friend to her.

She said: “Empress isn’t my friend, she is my sister. We have known each other for 23 years. We are family friends. She is always there for me. She recently came to visit me when the voice note leaked and we talked, prayed and she encouraged me.”

Since the death of Ada Ameh’s daughter in 2020, Empress has always been there for her and ensures she lives happily
