2023: Buhari’s Aide Reacts As Tinubu, Atiku Are Asked To Step Down For Obi
The Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital Communications, Bashir Ahmad has reacted to a call for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to step down from the 2023 presidential race.
Naija News recalls Tinubu and Atiku, candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) respectively were urged to step down for the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The call was made by veteran actor, Kenneth Okonkwo during an interview with Arise TV on Wednesday.
Okonkwo opined that the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi is the solution to the challenges of Nigeria.
According to him, the survival of the country is in the hands of every Nigerian, including the terrorists as everyone is looking for a solution.
He said Peter Obi is the only way of escape for Nigerians and it is important for everyone to fall in line.
Kenneth added that he would beg the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar and All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, to step down for the former Governor of Anambra state if he is opportuned to see them.
Reacting to the submission, Ahmad on Friday via a Twitter post, laughed off the suggestion.
