Tinubu, Shettima Arrive APC National Secretariat In Abuja
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has arrived at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
Naija News reports that Tinubu arrived at the party secretariat alongside his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, around 2: 45pm amidst tight security.
Tinubu was accompanied by the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong; Secretary of the Council, Hon. James Faleke; Nuhu Ribadu and Dele Alake, among others.
The former Governor of Anambra State was received by the APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and other members of the National Working Committee (NWC), who ushered him into the secretariat.
It is understood that the visit will provide an opportunity for Tinubu and Shettima to discuss their campaign manifesto with the APC leadership and party strategies and plans to win the forthcoming 2023 general elections in the country,
After meeting with the party leadership, Tinubu and Shettima are expected to address the APC press corps at the Media immediately after the meeting.
This news platform understands that the visit is the first since June when he emerged as the party’s flag bearer at the party’s National Convention.
