2023 Presidency: Peter Obi Speaks On Dialoguing With Agitators
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has promised to dialogue with agitators across the country.
Naija News reports that Obi made this known at an interactive session organised for the Presidential candidates by the Arewa Joint Committee at the Arewa House in Kaduna State on Monday.
The former Governor of Anambra State promised to discuss and dialogue with agitators and find out the substance of their agitations and bring peace to Nigeria if elected President in 2023.
Obi asserted that his planned discussion with the agitators would bring development to every part of the country, adding that he would consider other options only after he had exhausted dialogue.
The former governor pointed out that every most intractable problem in the world had been solved through dialogue, stressing that his interest is to make Nigeria a better country and restore the nation’s security.
Obi, however, promised to continue to condemn wrongdoings in any part of the country and that he would not condone such in any guise.
