We Don’t Want To Keep A Secret – APC Chieftain Reveals When Tinubu Will Reveal His Source Of Wealth
A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Farouk Aliyu has assured Nigerians that the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has nothing to hide about his source of wealth.
This is as he disclosed that Tinubu would declare his assets which will reveal his source of wealth if he wins the 2023 presidential election and those questioning his source of wealth would see there is nothing to hide.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Aliyu, a former lawmaker who represented Birnin Kudu/Buji in the House of Representatives between 2003 and 2007, submitted that the controversies generated by the APC candidate’s source of wealth and background will soon be laid to rest.
He however challenged anybody that has any information about Tinubu’s alleged illegal wealth to come forward and declare it openly.
Speaking further, the APC chieftain said Tinubu has constantly in the past declared his innocence but because he is seeking to become President of Nigeria next year, it is understandable that people are scrutinizing him again.
“Now, if you are coming to public glare – you are looking for an office like that of a president – the people of the country have to ask,” he said.
Aliyu aded that; “But going beyond asking, if he (Tinubu) wins, there would be declarations – he would declare his assets for everybody to see and I assure you that if Tinubu wins the election by the grace of God, he is going to come clean.”
We Don’t Want Any Secret
The former lawmaker challenged anyone with information about any illegal wealth belonging to Tinubu to make it public.
“We don’t want anybody to keep it secret. We don’t want anybody to hide,” he said.
APC Presidential Campaign Council For Inauguration On Friday
Aliyu also confirmed that all is now set for the APC to inaugurate its presidential campaign council on Friday. He added that the delay is to see what others are doing and assured that all members of the party will be carried along.

“We just stayed back to see what others are doing,” noting that “the campaigns will start immediately”.
