‘My Account Was Hacked’ – Officer Who Alleged Apostle Suleman Use Policemen For Rituals
One Sheyi A. Peters, an acclaimed officer of the Nigeria Police Force who accused the founder of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman of using mobile police officers for rituals has denied the viral reports.
Naija News reports that Apostle Suleman on Saturday took to social media to call out a police officer identified as Sheyi Peters Alfred who alleged that mobile policemen he supplied him (Suleman) for escorts were used for rituals.
The said officer had claimed in a post on Facebook that the girl killed during the assassination attempt was used for rituals by Suleman.
In a swift response to the claims, Apostle Suleman via his Twitter handle said he has reported the officer to the Inspector General of Police, demanding that the self-proclaim officer prove his claims.
Shortly after, it was noticed that the Facebook account ‘Sheyi Peters Alfred’ was no more on the social platform.
However, a new Facebook account with the name Sheyi A. Peters claiming to be the same person, informed the general public that the viral post accusing Apostle Suleman of using police officers for rituals did not emanate from him directly.
Peters claimed that his account was hacked and he is still trying to recover it.
He wrote: “To the general public, and especially to Apostle Johnson Suleman, I saw my name trending online that I made a post alleging u of rituals, I want to tell the general public that am not aware of the said post, my account Sheyi Peters Alfred was hacked since yesterday and am still trying to get it fixed, so I did not make such post Pls the general public be aware.”
Naija News reports that the drama started following an attack on Apostle Suleman’s convoy in Edo State on Friday evening. Gunmen yet-to-be-identified ambushed the cleric’s convoy on Warake road in Auchi, Edo State while returning to his base after a programme.
No fewer than seven persons including four police officers were killed in the unfortunate attack.
