2023: Atiku’s Wife Rukaiya Campaigns For Him In Northeast, Say Only Her Husband Has Strong Support For Women

Wife of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential flag bearer, Princess Rukaiya Atiku Abubakar, has described her husband as the only candidate in the presidential race with strong support for women.

Naija News reports that Mrs Atiku was in Bauchi State on Tuesday to canvass for the support of Northeast women for her husband

Princess Rukaiya, who was with other members of her organisation (PRACO), said her husband’s strong support for women and youth development is the reason why he has decided to raise the sum of $10 billion for women and youth empowerment if elected as president next year at the polls.

According to her, if Atiku emerges as president in 2023 he would work towards solving issues bothering women’s affairs in the country.

Naija News reported on Monday that the PDP flag bearer said if elected in 2023, he will empower Nigerian youth with a sum of 10 billion dollars, which he would raise from the sales of the four oil refineries in the country.

He said: “If I’m elected, I will empower youths with 10 billion dollars to invest in youths and employment, and people have been asking how I will get the money.

“If I privatize Warri, Kaduna, and Port Harcourt refineries, we will get 10 billion to empower Nigerian youths. In the last 23 years, you have been governed by one family, but PDP is out to change that.”

Atiku’s wife noted that “My husband, Atiku Abubakar, is the only Presidential candidate in the forthcoming 2023 election that has strong support for women and youth inclusion in governance.

“It is in the light of this that he had promised to set aside $ 10 billion for youth and women empowerment.”
