Actor David Arnold Is Dead
Veteran American stand-up comedian, actor and writer, David Arnold has died on Wednesday, 7th September, at the age of 54.
Naija News reports that the demise of the actor was made known by his family in a statement, while expressing sadness over the incident.
Although the cause of the death was not specified, the family noted that Davido died in his home and the doctors have ruled the cause of the death to be natural causes.
While soliciting prayers, the family urged the public to respect their privacy at the moment, adding that they are all still shocked and devastated over the death.
The statement reads: “It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother and friend, David A. Arnold.
“David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss.”
Prior to his death, Arnold headlined two Netflix comedy specials and was a writer/producer on the Fuller House reboot.
He had recently released his second Netflix comedy special ‘It Ain’t For the Weak’, which was produced by Kevin Hart’s production company Hartbeat.
The July special was filmed at the Hanna Theatre in Arnold’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
David is survived by his wife Julie Harkness and his two daughters, Anna-Grace and Ashlyn.
