Ayra Starr Replies Those Who Says She Can’t Sing
Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe popularly known as Ayra Starr has replied those who claim she is a terrible singer.
The singer took to Twitter to state that she has been performing almost every day since October and it had taken a toll on her voice. She asked those who were spreading the false narrative to put a stop to it.
Ayra is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and model. The 19- year-old was born in Cotonou and began her fashion career when she was 16. She caught the attention of Don Jazzy after posting her first original song on her page in 2019 and led to her signing to Mavin Records.
In other news, Grammy Winner, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known as Wizkid has reacted to the outburst of Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale.
Naija News reports Shatta Wale attacked Nigerian singers in a series of social media posts on Monday.
According to the Dancehall artiste, Nigerian singers do not support nor promote other African acts like they do with Nigerian content.
Shatta Wale also boastfully shared photos of his concert attendance on his Instagram page on Sunday in which he sold out a stadium in Ghana and said he doesn’t need any Nigerian artiste to make his concert a success
Reacting to the development, Wizkid noted that he doesn’t care about nationality as he treats everyone like his brother or sister. He also stressed it’s one Africa whether it’s Kenya, Ghana, or Nigeria. Read more
