BNXN: Old Video Of Buju Performing On Canoe Before He Made It Big Surfaces
An old video of popular Nigerian singer, BNXN formerly known as Buju has surfaced online.
Recall that Naija News earlier reported that the singer, born Daniel Benson, announced the change of his stage name from Buju to BNXN.
Buju, on Thursday revealed the reason behind his decision to change his stage name which has become a household name over the years.
The singer who hails from Akwa-Ibom caught the attention of Nigerians after his Lenu remix with Burna Boy.
Buju had to take the hard decision after it was discovered that he shares the same name with American singer, Buju Banton, who has trademarked the name.
Changing his stage name to BNXN would save him from any lawsuit.
The singer’s new release and project would carry the name BNXN following his announcement on his Twitter account.
After the singer’s new announcement, a throwback video of him singing in a canoe before he attained fame has emerged online.
