Davido Called Out Over Alleged 5-Year Debt
Nigerian singer-songwriter, Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, popularly known as Dammy Krane has called out his colleague, Davido over alleged debt owed for years.
The singer via his verified handle on the microblogging platform, Twitter on Monday claimed that Davido had refused to pay him for co-writing his 2017 hit song, Pere featuring American rappers, Rae Sremmurd and Young Thug.
In the post, Dammy Krane tagged Davido, saying he was forced to resort to social media after all efforts to get a response about the payment from the singer’s management proved abortive.
He then further shared a screenshot of Davido’s tweet from 2017, where he revealed that Dammy was among the songwriters.
”Shoutout @dammy_krane !! Co wrote the hook on PERE with me!!” the DMW boss tweeted.
He further asked the ‘FIA’ hit maker to send him the money that’s due him for co-writing Pere.
Dammy wrote; ‘‘My Blooda @davido Run the check 💰 I don reach out to people over the years based on split sheet & outstanding, No response , we no gats Dey get this convo here 🤞🏾”

Davido Calls Oyetola ‘Bad Human Being’
Meanwhile, Davido has described the Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola as a ‘bad human being’.
Davido stated this while reacting to the claims that the state governor-elect, Ademola Adeleke, who happens to be the singer’s uncle admitted that there was over-voting in the state governorship election.
The reports had stated that Adeleke opined that there was over-voting while responding to the petition filed against him by Oyetola before the Election Petition Tribunal.
Adeleke while reacting to the claims online in a statement released through his spokesman, Rasheed Olawale dismissed that there was over-voting in 750 polling units.
He further stated that the over-voting was created by the incomplete data of BVAS based on the unsynchronised BVAS report that was used by the petitioners.
Davido in his reaction called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to tell Nigerians if there was over-voting.
The singer also accused the Osun State Governor of spreading lies and destroying his legacy, adding that he does not even have a legacy.
