Davido, Ebuka, Obi Cubana, Others Reacts As Banky W Wins PDP House Of Reps Ticket

Award-winning Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido on Tuesday expressed his support for his colleague, Bankole Wellington, also known as Banky W after he clinched the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Naija News had earlier reported that the musician cum politician was declared as the candidate for the party in the Eti-Osa House of Representative race.

Banky W won the electoral process after clinching 28 of the 31 votes cast by delegates at the primary.

Davido while reacting to the emergence of his colleague as the candidate of the party said, “Congrats @BankyW! You have my support! Don’t sit at home and complain, get up and make a change.”

The host of the Big Brother Naija reality show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and other celebrities also congratulated and expressed support for the singer.

He wrote, “One building block at a time. Congrats @BankyW! Time to prepare even harder bro.”

MI Abaga wrote “Many will talk, few will do. Congrats @BankyW.”

DJ Neptune also congratulated the singer on Twitter saying, “Congrats Banky W!”

Obi Cubana wrote, “Congratulations @BankyW on securing PDP Primaries ticket for House Of Representatives.”
