Deyemi Okanlawon Speaks As Ini Dima-Okojie Ties The Knot, Blames Nancy Isime For ‘Ruining Their Relationship’
Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon has reacted to the marriage of his colleague, Ini Dima-Okojie to Abasi Ene-Obong.
Ini and Abasi held their traditional wedding on Saturday May 21 after their court wedding the previous day.
The new bride took to Instagram to share stunning photos of herself in her bridal dress.
Taking to the comment section, Deyemi playfully stated that he ought to have married Ini but Nancy Isime ruined his relationship with her.
He wrote: “This could have been us. If not for @nancyisimeofficial”.
Deyemi was making reference to the Netflix series Blood Sisters where he starred alongside Ini (who played his love interest), Nancy Isime, kate Henshaw, Ramsey Nouah, Uche Jombo, Joke Silva and Keppy Bassey.
Deyemi’s character Kola, an abusive lover, was engaged to Ini Dima-Okojie (who played the character Sarah) but died after Sarah’s best friend Kemi, played by Nancy Isime, accidentally shot him while trying to rescue Sarah from Kola during a fight.
