EPL: Raiola Hints At Pogba’s Manchester United Exit
Mino Raiola, agent of Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, says his client is close to leaving the club.
Naija News reports that Pogba is fast approaching the final six months of his contract at United, who are reportedly struggling to tie him down to fresh terms.
Raiola has often been outspoken when it comes to the France international’s future and has once again hinted at his exit from Old Trafford.
In an interview with Ria, Raiola said: “December is the month of dreams… and I can’t stop dreams, but it is better to not speak about Paul. If some former Man Utd players don’t speak about me and Paul, they won’t work anymore.
“It’s too early to speak about Paul Pogba’s contract. Let’s see what happens. I can’t stop anyone from dreaming.”
Pogba hasn’t scored in any of his 13 appearances across all competitions and is currently recovering from a thigh injury.
In other news, Manchester United Executive Vice-chairman, Ed Woodward has disclosed that the club’s top priority is to win trophies and succeed on the field.
Naija News reports that Woodward made this known on Wednesday following the release of the club’s latest financial results.
He submitted United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the players and everyone at the club are determined to ensure that the club wins more trophies.
He said: “While these financial results today demonstrate our resilience through the pandemic, our top priority is success on the pitch.
“The manager, players and everyone at the club are determined to achieve that objective.”
