Edgar said: “During the break, what are your options? Now you might see people walking off, you might see them staying on the stage. It’s completely up to you.

“I was a player who traditionally liked to stay on stage. You’re allowed to do that, you can stay on there and practice.

“You’re allowed to stand there and do whatever you want. So during that time, that’s your time.

“But what you’re probably wondering is where are the players going. Now, it’s quite boring, it’s not exciting back there and I can give you the insight into what it is.

“There is a Portakabin, we’re talking about the Alexandra Palace here by the way, in sort of like a car park area.

“It is cold, very cold! It’s not like a heated VIP room where you go in and can sit down on a nice cushioned sofa. It is cold.

“There is a table there, you can have things on the table if you want. You can have drinks on the table, snacks, that is the place you can go off and have refreshments or do what you need to do.

“And that is it! It is a very cold space.”
