Heavy Flood Sweeps Bike Rider Away After Refusing To Let Go Of His Bike (Video)

A bike rider got swept away by a heavy flood after refusing to let go of his bike and save himself, in the Oko Oba, Agege Area, Lagos State.

Naija News reports that the video making the rounds online shows the bike man with two passengers as he tries to drive through the flood.

Amidst the heavy flood, the bike rider continues driving through before the first passenger jumped down from the bike when it enters a deeper part.

Shortly after, the second passenger falls from the bike and immediately stands up but the bike ride continued before he fell down.

The flood carried the man away, as he refused to let go of his bike to save himself.

Spectators were heard screaming for the man to leave the bike and it is uncertain if the man survived the incident.

Edo CP Removes DPO Over Killing Of Suspect

Meanwhile, the Divisional Police Officer of Auchi Division, Ayodele Suleiman has been removed by the Commissioner of Police in Edo State, Abutu Yaro for allegedly killing a suspect arrested for attacking the convoy of General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

The suspended DPO is expected to report at the state police command for debriefing.

The Deputy Public Relations Officer of the command, Jennifer Iwegbu in a statement said the DPO’s withdrawal was part of the measures to unravel the circumstances that led to the death of one of the suspects.

Iwegbu, “The outgoing CP now AIG Abutu Yaro has ordered the withdrawal of CSP Ayodele Suleiman, DPO Auchi for debriefing at the State Headquarters with immediate effect.”

He called on members of the public to remain calm and patient, assuring that no stone would be left unturned in the circumstances surrounding the incident.
