But the sparks prematurely break into a bright orange blaze and the baseball fan stumbles off the crosswalk as thick plumes of smoke start to billow.

He winces in agony as it becomes clear in the clip that his left hand is partially blown off and splatters of blood stain his white Clayton Kershaw “King” No. 22 jersey.

In a confused state of shock, he manages to walk towards a nearby storefront and places his disfigured hand against it while he doubles over in pain, covering his face with his right hand.

Traumatised bystanders immediately come to his aid and one can be heard shouting: “His hand blew off, oh my goodness” as the victim wanders around in a circle.

Another man begs his pal to “dial 911 right now” as the Dodgers fan shows them his bloodied hand.

Cops confirmed that the victim was a 25-year-old man and said first responders got to the scene at 2.30am on Thursday, according to reports by TMZ.

Officials placed tourniquets on both of his arms and took him to a nearby hospital.

Medics described his condition as debilitating but said his injuries weren’t life-threatening.

It comes as Los Angeles descended into chaos following Wednesday night’s Dodgers’ World Series victory.

Several terrifying clips from Los Angeles show out-of-control Dodgers fans setting vehicles on fire and looting storefronts in clown masks.

The Dodgers beat the New York Yankees 7-6 on Wednesday night in Game 5, leading fans to take to the streets.

The Los Angeles Police Department reported on Thursday morning that 12 arrests were made in the violent celebrations.

Six people were arrested for commercial burglary, four for receiving stolen property, and two for failure to disperse, LAPD said.

“Several dispersal orders have been given,” LAPD Central Division wrote on X during the chaos.

“Several businesses have been looted. It was requested to celebrate responsibly.”

The LAPD shared footage of looters in clown masks running in and out of a boarded-up shoe store about four miles from Dodger Stadium just after 11 pm.

The criminals were seen running out of the business with Nike merchandise and throwing shoes onto parked cars outside the store.

Closer to the stadium in the Echo Park neighborhood, one nearly-naked fan covered in blue paint painted the sidewalks with paint in chaotic footage as cops moved in.
