It Is Unintelligent For Peter Obi To Expect Churches Be His Backbone – Adeyanju

Political activist, Deji Adeyanju has condemned the campaign strategies of Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate Peter Obi.

Adeyanju berated Obi for visiting churches instead of the 774 local governments in Nigeria.

He insisted that the LP’s presidential candidate method of campaign was unintelligent adding that the former Anambra State Governor is expecting the churches to be his structure.

Adeyanju went on to state that Obi was only interested in the noise his campaign creates online.

He said: “Obi moving around churches and expecting them to serve as political structures for him in February instead of just simply going round the 774 LGAs to build like most political parties do, is the most unintelligent move I have ever seen.

“He was in a church in Benue yesterday again. Almost 3-months after party primaries, they are yet to start building LGA party structures anywhere in Nigeria. They are only interested in social media noise and 1-million March wey no reach 2k.”

Peter Obi Will Not Respond To Atiku’s Attack Dog

The media office of Peter Obi has slammed former Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, and has urged Nigerians to ignore his recent comment.

Naija News earlier reported that Melaye during an interview on Channels TV last week testified that Obi is a brilliant Nigerian but he does not have what is needed to lead the country at this time.

Melaye, the spokesperson of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council, stated that it’s just social media noise that is making Obi feel like he has a chance in the 2023 election.

The former lawmaker however added that even on social media, many of those clamouring for the Obi presidency is not following the handle of the former Anambra State Governor, hence their loyalty is still in doubt.

Reacting, In a statement on Monday, the camp of the former Governor of Anambra State described Melaye as the ‘attack dog’ of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar.

Obi’s camp noted that the LP candidate is issue-driven in his journey to Aso Rock to serve the masses and rescue the country.

The media office told Nigerians that Obi has many useful things to say and cannot waste time on instigators who do not appreciate the enormity of the country’s challenges.
