Kizz Daniel Speaks On Arrest In Tanzania, Discloses Next Step
Popular Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel, has reacted to his arrest in Tanzania.
Naija News earlier reported that the ‘Buga’ crooner was apprehended in Tanzania for not performing at a concert he was paid to perform.
A video of his arrest which surfaced online captured the singer being escorted into the Police van.
The show organizers in Tanzania had mobilized the police to arrest him over his alleged refusal to perform at his concert on Sunday, 7th August 2022.
The singer, who arrived in the country earlier on Sunday, reportedly refused to perform due to the unavailability of his clothes.
Some of the fans who took to Twitter to express their anger said some people who paid as much as $5000 for tables later ripped the hall apart in frustration.
The singer, who has now being set free, shared his side of the story at a press conference on Tuesday night streamed on the show promoter’s Instagram page.
He apologized and promised a free show on Friday.
He said, “This Friday, a free show by the way, I will be partnering with Straight Up Vibes to make that happen.
“I must apologize to the fans. None of this was intentional.”
