Man Shares Remarkable Thing Wizkid Did For His Mother
A Nigerian man identified as David Anthony has taken to the microblogging platform, Twitter to express appreciation to Nigerian singer, Wizkid, for paying the bills for his mother’s surgery.
The man in the post shared on Twitter revealed that Wizkid made his year after he paid in full for his mother’s surgery.
David Anthony also noted that his mother had undergone the surgery and it was successful.
The post reads: ”Omo I can’t keep my cool mehn. This man @wizkid just made my year!! Love you like crazy broo!! Damn, he paid for my mother’s surgery! I dey speechless mann! I felt helpless mann!! That woman is my world. It’s done and was a successful one.”
Other social media users stormed the post wish his mother a successful recovery.
Meanwhile, award-winning Nigerian singer, Ayo Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid has been nominated in two categories for the 2022 Grammy Awards.
The fourth album of the talented singer, ‘Made in Lagos’ which was released in 2020 has continued to dominate music charts in the country and abroad.
Wizkid’s hit song, Essence has been on the lips of music lovers as it also made its way to the playlist of former US President Barack Obama.
The likes of Nate Bargatze, Jon Batiste, BTS, H.E.R., Gayle King, Måneskin, Tayla Parx and Carly Pearce helped in announcing the nominees on Tuesday, during a live stream.
