Manchester United Dou Marcus Rashford, Tyrell Malacia Involved In Car Crash

Manchester United’s forward Marcus Rashford and his club teammate, Tyrell Malacia, were involved in a car accident caused by a suspected drunk driver.

The incident occurred when a black Mercedes crashed into a Range Rover owned by Marcus Rashford, leaving Malacia in need of medical checks at a hospital.

Rashford was said to be driving another car behind his Range Rover carrying 24-year-old Malacia when the accident happened.

Following the collision, Tyrell Malacia was advised to seek medical attention even though he didn’t sustain any physical injury.

The 55-year-old driver of the Mercedes which collided with Rashford’s Range Rover was arrested by the Cheshire Police on suspicion of drink-driving and was subsequently checked at Macclesfield Hospital according to the Sun.

After medical evaluations, both Rashford and Malacia were cleared by doctors, with both players back at training the following day.

Cheshire Police confirmed that the collision involved a blue Range Rover Sport and a black Mercedes sports car on July 16, 2024. The incident took place just two days before Rashford was given a six-month driving ban for speeding at 104mph in his Rolls-Royce on the M60 in December 2023.

Despite the recent events, Rashford joined the United squad for a pre-season tour in Los Angeles, United States, while Malacia, who missed the previous season due to injury, remained in Manchester for fitness work.
