The consistent growth in reserves from $32.1 billion on April 17, 2024, to $32.6 billion by May 16, 2024, is indicative of the nation’s enhanced foreign exchange earnings.

Breaking down the figures, the reserves reached $32,642,208,645 on May 16, 2024, reflecting a notable rise of $33.28 million from the previous day.

The trend persisted on May 13, 2024, with reserves standing at $32,528,997,289, signifying an increase of $23.30 million.

This surge in foreign reserves has been attributed to the nation’s bolstered foreign exchange earnings, indicating a positive momentum in economic growth. Notably, on May 10, 2024, reserves witnessed a significant increase, surging to $32,471,987,785, marking a substantial gain of $81.80 million.

The surge in foreign reserves not only reflects the nation’s economic resilience but also augurs well for its ability to weather global economic headwinds.

Economists anticipate that this upward trend will bolster the nation’s economic stability and enhance its capacity to withstand future economic challenges.
