NNPP To Unveil Kwankwaso’s Running Mate Today — Spokesperson

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) is expected to announce its vice presidential candidate today (Thursday), according to the spokesman of the party, Agbo Major.

Major, on Thursday, said the fast-growing party would later in the day reveal Rabiu Kwankwaso’s running mate ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

The spokesman of NNPP in a message forwarded to Vanguard disclosed that the party has commenced the uploading of Form EC9 of all governorship and House of Assembly candidates on the portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

He called on Nigerians to ignore all insinuations coming from mischief makers.

The statement read, “NNPP yesterday commenced uploading of Form EC9 of all guber and HoA candidates and would conclude it today Thur 14/7/22. The vice presidential candidate of the party would also be unveiled later today. Pls, ignore all insinuations coming from mischief makers.”

There have been speculations that the former Governor of Kano State had picked the senior pastor of God First Ministry, popularly known as Illumination Assembly, Lekki Light Centre (LLC), Ajah, Lagos, Isaac Idahosa.

The claim, however, has not been confirmed by the party.
