Nollywood Actor, Romanus Amuta Is Dead
Veteran Nollywood actor, Romanus Amuta popularly known for playing Natty in New Masquerade has died at 79.
Naija News reports that, Chukwuma Amuta, the deceased son stated that the veteran died in a hospital on February 9 after a protracted illness.
“Yes! My father died this morning in Lagos after a protracted illness.”
Amuta was an indigene of ukana in Udi LGA of Enugu. He worked with Daily Times before venturing into the movie industry. The actor came into the lime light after he featured in the movie ‘New Masquerade.’
The actor is survived by his wife Cordelia and six children.
Meanwhile, Nigerian movie director, Kemi Adetiba has announced her engagement to her Ghanaian beau, Oscar Heman-Ackah.
The King of Boys director took to her Instagram page to reveal that she got engaged on the 28th of January, 2020, but wanted to share her good news on her own terms.
