Nollywood Actress, Uche Elendu Speaks On Being A Bully In School
Talented Nigerian actress, Uche Elendu has reacted to the accusations of bullying a student while she was in secondary school in Owerri.
Elendu was accused amidst the call for schools to address bullying after a 12-year-old student, Sylvester Oromoni lost his life at the hands of school bullies.
An Instagram user in a post had condemned Elendu for bullying her sister and being a hypocrite for supporting the shun bully campaign.
The actress in her reaction to the accusation apologized for punishing the Instagram user’s sister while back in school.
According to Elendu, she was not a bully back in school but was a strict senior who punishes people only for not performing their duties.
She wrote, “Haaaa God have mercy!!! 22 years after, the exaggeration tho. pls, who is your sister? ill like to give her a big hug and apologize for probably punishing her for being at the wrong place at the wrong time, or disobeying the school rules.
“Who is a bully?? I know I was a strict senior back in school but I didn’t punish unjustly neither did I inflict injury on my juniors or beat them up, the school was totally against that.
“Boarding school should just be scrapped, I went through the same drilling from my seniors but I can’t call that bullying.. has me that they will knock on the head and ill see 1 million stars in 5 seconds…. cos really juniors can’t escape being sent on errands or punished.
“I bet your sister and all the juniors I punished didn’t also perform their duties as prefects and seniors in their time. If you didn’t attend a boarding school abeg comot body. #justiceforsylvester.”
