Obaseki Appoints Yakubu Gowon, Obadiku As Special Advisers
Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has approved the appointment of three new Special Advisers.
Naija News reports that this was made known in a statement on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie.
According to the statement, the appointees are James Babatunde Agbogun Esq.; Yakubu Gowon and Jimfred Obadiku.
According to him, “The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, has approved the appointments of the underlisted persons as Special Advisers in the Edo State Government.
“The appointees are: James Babatunde Agbogun Esq.; Yakubu Gowon, and Jimfred Obadiku.”
He added that the swearing-in of the appointees will be conducted at a date to be announced later.
This follows the recent appointment of 38 Senior Special Assistants and 96 Special Assistants drawn from across the state after the harmonization of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by the leaders of the party.
The 134 appointees were drawn from nine local government areas across the state including Ikpoba-Okha, Owan East, Owan West, Orhionmwon, Ovia South-West, Akoko-Edo, Etsako-West, Etsako-Central and Etsako-East LGAs.
