Osun APC Crisis: Window Of Reconciliation Still Open – Oyetola To Splinter Groups

The governor of Osun state, Gboyega Oyetola has said that there is still hope for reconcilliation for aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Naija News reports that  Oyetola said this during his tour of Ayedire and Ola-Oluwa Local Government Areas.

He encouraged APC Members to put aside their differences with aggrieved members who truly wanted to return back to the party.

He said: “the window of reconciliation is still open to those who are members of the splinter group, to have a rethink and join the mainstream of the party structure.

“This is where the party is and this is where God resides. It is our belief that with God, success is ours. I am resolute to continue to make you proud.”

He also told party loyalists to prepare for the February 19 governorship primary of the party, emphasizing on the need for the party to create a united front.

In other news, the lawmaker representing Imo west senatorial district, Rochas Okorocha, on Tuesday, claimed that Imo State was put on the map due to the statues he built as the Governor of the state.

Some of the personalities with statues at the square include Nigeria’s first President, Nnamdi Azikiwe; former Prime Minister, Tafawa Balewa; former military governor of the defunct Eastern Region of Nigeria, Ikemba Ojukwu; first democratic governor of Imo State, Sam Mbakwe; former President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf; former President of South Africa, Jacob Zuma etc. Read more
