Osun: APC Mocks Yusuf For Dumping Party
The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has mocked the former Deputy Speaker of the House od Representatives, Lasun Yusuf for dumping the party.
APC in a statement released on Saturday described Yusuf as a noisemaker and paperweight politician whose mind had left the party since 2018.
The party further stated that the former lawmaker has continued to fail to win elections, even his polling unit.
The ruling party promised to show the defected member that he has no electoral value in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
APC stated this in a statement released on Saturday through the State Directorate of Publicity, Research, and Strategy and signed by its Director, Kunle Oyatomi.
According to the ruling party, it will record more victory now that Yusuf has dumped the party.
Recall that Yusuf dumped the party on Friday ahead of the gubernatorial election in the state.
The statement reads, “It is pertinent to tell the public what they already know that Hon Lasun Yusuf is a ‘noisemaker and paperweight politician’ whose mind has left the party since 2018 after he contested for governorship primary election and failed and he has consistently been failing to win elections, even in his Poling Unit.
“Our party will show Hon Yusuf that truly, he has no electoral value because, when he worked against the party, APC recorded so many electoral victories and the next election won’t be an exemption.”
He called on members of the state chapter of the party to stay away from enemies of the party who act as party men but are worse than those in the opposition.
