#OsunDecides2022: PDP’s Adeleke Leading Oyetola In Five LGAs
Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won in five local government areas in the Osun State Governorship Election.
Adeleke polled a total of 79,453 votes ahead of Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who secured 69,031 votes in the election.
Naija News understands that the five local governments are Atakumosa West, Ifelodun, Orolu, Odo-Otin and Osogbo LGAs.
Meanwhile, the National Chairman of the ruling APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu has expressed confidence that the party will emerge victorious in the 2023 elections.
Adamu made his view known on Saturday when he paid a courtesy visit to the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule.
The APC National Chairman was in the state to commiserate with the people and government of Nasarawa over the recent passing away of the paramount ruler of Eggon nationality in the state, Aren Eggon.
He argued that despite the dissatisfaction of some party members and the defection of some others, the APC will record victories at the state and federal levels in the 2023 general elections.
