‘She Messed Me Up’ – Gospel Singer Mike Abdul Reacts To Tiwa Savage’s Explanation Of Her Song ‘Somebody’s Son’

Popular gospel singer, Mike Abdul has taken to social media to react after Nigerian female sensational singer, Tiwa Savage revealed the man she was referring to in her 2021 hit track ‘Somebody’s Son’.

Naija News reports that this comes a few months after Tiwa Savage claimed her song was a Christian song and not secular.

In the video shared by Abdul, Tiwa explained that her management had warned her against releasing the song because the opposite sex won’t be able to sing along to it.

According to the singer, she explained to her management that the somebody’s son she was talking about in her song was not a boyfriend or a male lover, but Jesus Christ.

While reacting to the explanation, Abdul said that Tiwa’s explanation left him feeling like a mess.

He wrote: “TiWa Savage @tiwasavage reaLLy messed me up this time. I’m coming abeg”

Tiwa Savage Gets Honorary Degree

Tiwa Savage received an honorary doctorate degree from her alma mater, the University of Kent on July 15th in Canterbury, England.

The singer, who completed a degree in Accounting at the University, was awarded an honorary degree during its congregation ceremonies at Canterbury and Rochester cathedrals.

According to a statement from the institution, Tiwa Savage “will be made Doctor of Music in recognition of her inspirational and international career in music.”

Tiwa Savage had studied Accounting at the same University of Kent before moving on to study music at the Berklee College of Music.
