Skirmishes In Taraba APC Are Internal Issues, It Will Soon Be Resolved – Kirim
Taraba state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Thursday, disclosed that it was working on the psychology and mentality of citizens in the state against religious and ethnic sentiments ahead of the 2023 election.
Alhaji. Illiyasu Kirim, the running mate to the governorship candidate of the party disclosed this while addressing journalists in reaction to the court case challenging the emergence of Senator Emmanuel Bwacha as the party’s governorship candidate in Jalingo.
He expressed that the party was intact without crisis and they were working hard to change the people’s minds against religious and ethnic sentiments to enable them defeat the PDP come 2023.
The Guber running mate also expressed that the little skirmishes been heard in the Taraba state chapter of the party were normal party internal issues that would soon be resolved.
Correspondent reports that some aggrieved APC aspirants in the State have dragged the presumed winner of the gubernatorial primary, Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha to court challenging his emergence as the governorship candidate.
“We are working on the psychology of our people so that they will not continue to operate on religious, tribal and regional sentiments at the detriment of our collective gains.
“The little Skirmishes you heard about are normal things. They are internal party issues that will be sorted out in the course of time.
“We are one in the party, and we are working as a family to take over Taraba State comes 2023,”he disclosed.
He called on the citizens to support the APC and its governorship candidate, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha to win and move the state forward.
Kirim also assured the people of Taraba State that a new Taraba State would emerge after the party’s victory at the poll and urged them to obtain their PVCs to vote out the PDP in 2023.
