‘Stop Passing The Buck’ – PDP Knocks APC, Buhari Over Worsening Insecurity
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has continued to berate the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Muhammadu Buhari over the worsening insecurity in the country.
According to the opposition party, the ruling party has failed to protect the lives and properties of the citizens and is unable to tackle the insecurity rocking the nation.
Naija News reports that the PDP made this known in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, on Thursday.
The opposition party also described the Buhari government as incompetent and always blaming past governments for failing to secure the country and revamp the economy.
It said Nigerians were tired of excuses and apologies from the Buhari administration for its inability to contain the bloody attacks on the citizens.
The PDP, therefore, stressed that Nigerians are waiting eagerly for 2023 to vote the ruling APC out of power and pave way for a new dispensation.
“This government would be coming every day to apologise to Nigerians to say ‘we’re sorry for what we’ve done.’ But this is a government that is arrogant in failure. They’ve failed and they are still arrogant about it. They should bury their head in shame.
“So, because insecurity predates the APC government, does it mean because they are incompetent and rudderless and completely clueless about the issues, we should accept it? I mean, these are lame excuses, which we’re used to,” the statement reads.
