Stopping Vote Buying Might Not Be Easy – Don Jazzy Advises Nigerians Ahead Of 2023 Elections
Nigerian music producer Don Jazzy has reminded Nigerians the long term gains of voting the right people into power.
The philanthropist advised Nigerians to be careful before allowing politicians influence their voting choices with money.
Sharing his view on the upcoming 2023 elections via Twitter, Don Jazzy insisted that attempts to stop vote buying might be difficult but Nigerians should consider the long term effect of not getting moved by temporary financial gains.
“I know stopping the menace of vote buying that has corrupted our electoral process might not be easy,” he Tweeted on Thursday, July 14, 2022.
“I can only urge Nigerians to be more mindful of the long-term gains of voting the right people into offices despite the attempts to financially sway their voting decisions.”
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress and comedian, Princess has opened up on how some people attempted to kill her over her public stance on the sexual assault case involving her colleague, Baba Ijesha.
Media personality, Chude Jideonwo, who shared the video on his social media pages, said he had placed an embargo on releasing it because Princess spoke freely at the time and it might prejudice the case. Read more
