Sylvester: There Are Also Bullies In Nollywood – Halima Abubakar
Popular Nigerian actress, Halima Abubakar, on Monday, disclosed that there are bullies in the Nigerian movie industry.
Halima in a post on her Instagram account called for bullies to be brought out and justice served.
This is coming after 12-year-old, Sylvester Oromoni was reportedly beaten by some seniors in Dowen college which consequently led to his death.
The Nollywood actress further stated that she repeated a semester at Bayero University, Kano, because of bullies.
Halima wrote, “the perpetrators should be brought out and justice served, so Sylvester can have closure and finally Rest In Peace.
“Bullying is actually rampant, they keep covering it up, am a boarder and I know, how schools cover crimes in boarding schools.
“They are right if you report, you switched, beating, molestation, punishments from seniors or even ur own mate.
“Kindly stop and talk to ur kids, many more are hidden, look even in Nollywood we have bullies and I will name them all.
“I Repeated A Semester In Buk Because Of Bullies.”
